Cleaning Factor LLC ("Cleaning Factor") operates a technology platform that connects customers with independent cleaning companies and provides software for those companies to manage their businesses. Cleaning Factor is not a cleaning service provider. Cleaning companies on the platform are independent businesses responsible for the services they perform.
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. Cleaning companies must be approved by Cleaning Factor before receiving requests and must keep their service areas, availability and contact details current.
Prices for marketplace bookings are calculated and set by Cleaning Factor at the time of booking and shown before you authorize payment. When you submit a request, your payment method is authorized for the quoted amount. The request is sent to eligible cleaning companies; the first to accept receives the booking. If no company accepts within the initial window, you may extend the search or cancel.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card is charged only when a cleaning company accepts your booking and the authorization is captured. If you cancel before acceptance, or no company accepts, the authorization is released and you are not charged; a pending authorization may take several days to disappear from your statement. Cleaning Factor may collect a commission from cleaning companies on marketplace bookings; this does not change the price shown to you.
Customers may cancel free of charge at any time before a company accepts. Cancellation after acceptance may be subject to the cancellation policy shown in the app at that time.
By opting in you agree to receive transactional text messages as described in our SMS Terms. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
Only customers whose booking was completed through the platform may leave a review. Reviews must be honest and respectful; we may remove reviews that violate these terms.
Do not misuse the Services, attempt to circumvent the platform to avoid fees, harass other users, or submit false information.
The Services are provided "as is". Cleaning companies are solely responsible for the quality and safety of their work. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cleaning Factor's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the booking in question.
We may update these terms and will post changes here. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
