Cleaning Factor LLC ("Cleaning Factor", "we", "us") operates the Cleaning Factor mobile applications and website (the "Services"), which connect customers with independent cleaning companies. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, mobile phone number and password.
- Property information: addresses, property size and layout, cleaning preferences and access instructions you choose to provide.
- Booking information: services requested, appointment times, booking status, reviews and ratings.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never store full card numbers. We keep payment references and transaction status.
- Business information (cleaning companies): business name, contact details, service areas, availability and payout details handled by Stripe.
- Device and usage information: device type, push notification tokens, app version and basic diagnostics.
How we use information
- To create and manage your account and properties.
- To price, match, confirm and deliver cleaning bookings between customers and cleaning companies.
- To process payments, authorizations and payouts.
- To send transactional notifications about your bookings by push notification, email and, with your consent, text message (see our SMS Terms).
- To provide support, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to provide the Services:
- With cleaning companies: when a company accepts your booking and payment is confirmed, we share the property address, your name, phone number and cleaning instructions so they can perform the service. Before acceptance, companies see only the city, ZIP code, property size, time and price.
- With customers: a cleaning company's public profile, ratings and reviews.
- With service providers: Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messages), Supabase (hosting and data storage) and Expo (push notifications), each bound to use data only to provide their service to us.
- Legal: when required by law or to protect rights, safety and the integrity of the Services.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
Text messages
If you opt in, we send text messages about your bookings. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Full details are in our SMS Terms.
Data retention and security
We keep account and booking records for as long as your account is active and as needed for tax, accounting and dispute purposes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with our hosting provider. You can request deletion of your account by emailing us.
Your choices
- Update your profile, properties and notification preferences in the app.
- Opt out of text messages by replying STOP or changing the setting in the app.
- Request a copy or deletion of your data at team@cleaningfactordmv.com.
Children
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy here and update the effective date.
